Soy la excepción que confirma la regla que dice que ‘en casa del herrero cuchara de palo’, y en cuanto tengo ocasión, zas! diseño al canto para myself! 
 
I am the exception that proves the rule which says that ‘the shoemaker’s son always goes barefoot’, and as soon as I have the chance I make a design for myself!

Esta vez se trataba de una boda (otra!), y aunque hasta dos semanas antes no tenía muy claro lo que iba a llevar, echando un vistazo a mi caja de las telas me encontré con esta seda y se me iluminó la bombilla: a lo loco! un vestido como los de las celebrities (pero sin perder mi estilo)! Largo hasta el suelo y con una buena raja en la pierna! Anda que no! (De ahí el porqué del nombre, no penséis cosas raras…)

Así que manos a la obra inmediatamente: medir, patronar, cortar, montar, probar, coser… y no paré hasta que lo terminé! (a veces soy un poco ‘jibia’, como se dice en mi tierra).

This time it was for another wedding, and though I didn’t have it clear till two weeks before, I went have a look to my fabric box and then this idea came into my mind: Of course! A celebrity dress, long to the ground and a long split! (That’s where the name come from, don’t think weird things!)

So hands to work immediately: take measures, making patterns, piecing together, try on, sewing… and I didn’t stop until I finished! (I’m a bit stubborn sometimes!)

Y ahora qué me hago en el pelo? OMG, odio las peluquerías! Y ellas a mi pelo, que es aún peor! Así que estaba claro: un tocado que me permita directamente no peinarme. Y no se me ocurre nadie mejor para llevar a cabo la tarea que Noelia de Ojú Illa, con quien ya había trabajado antes y con quien trabajaré en el futuro (seguiremos informado): por su buen hacer, por su magnífico trabajo y porque comprende a la perfección mis ininteligibles descripciones cuando hablo de tocados! 
And now, how will I do my hair? OMG, I hate herdresser’s! And what’s worse, they hate my hair! So I had it clear: I needed a headdress which let me not to do my hair. And there is no one better to make it than Noelia from Oju Illa, with whom I previously had worked and will work in the future (I’ll keep you posted): because of her good work and because she perfectly understand my incomprehensible descriptions when I talk about headdressing!

Y aquí estoy yo, encantada con mi total look! Y feliz con la de piropos que recibí por el vestido!
