Sí amigos! Dos años ya! Si el primer año de Dresses2Kill fue una continua experimentación, el segundo ha sido el de tener más claro el camino por el que quiero y debo seguir (aunque supongo que es inevitable que de algún bandazo por la cuneta…).

Ha sido un año muuuuy intenso! He pasado a hacer las cosas de manera legal, a trabajar con colecciones y tallas y muchas tiendas se han interesado por los productos de Dresses2Kill (de momento están en Valencia y próximamente en Madrid). He estado presente en ferias como el Dosde Market y el Nómada Market, donde he pasado muy buenos ratos compartiendo experiencias con otros diseñadores, he podido ver de primera mano la reacción de la gente (algo que en parte me ha ayudado a encontrar el camino), y mucha gente desconocida (y sin amigos en común) se ha hecho con un D2K tanto físicamente como online, que es ir un paso más allá en el camino de la profesionalización! A todos: GRACIAS!

Y como no me tiembla el pulso y cuando veo una piscina me lanzo por poca agua que tenga, he hecho colecciones en conjunto con Andrea Sanz (ilustradora) y Chico Sanchez (diseñador gráfico), diseños personalizados y modelos a medida por un tubo, algunos para los que he tenido que quitar el polvo a mis conocimientos de patronaje, y me he inventado y reinventado.

Y por si fuera poco me lancé (gracias Jimmy por el empujoncito!) a dar clases de corte y confección (tengo unas alumnas que son la caña de España!) y multitud de blogs han hablado de Dresses2Kill y de mí misma.

Por todo esto y más (un año da para mucho y fijo que me dejo algo), estoy MUY CONTENTA, y como sois unos fanses incondicionales y sin vuestro apoyo diario esto no sería lo que es, os voy a hacer dos regalazos (uno por año): 1.- la primera blusa que creé para la colección ‘Háblame del Mar’, la blusa Mangueta (sí!! me he vuelto loca!!) y como todos os lo merecéis haré un sorteo en Facebook entre todos los fans que compartáis la foto! (Entrad en la página de facebook y encontraréis las instrucciones en el muro)

Dear friends! 2 years have passed by! If Dresses2Kill´s first year was a continuos testing experience, on this second year I have found the path I would like and should follow (of course I´m expecting a few bumps on the road…)


It has been a very intense year!!!! I have started doing business legally, I have   collections and different sizes and quite a few shops have shown an interest on Dresses2Kill products ( currently you can find them in Valencia and shortly in Madrid). I have taken my products to Fairs such as Dosde Market and NomadaMarket, where I have had great moments sharing experiences with other designers, I was able to feel people reactions first hand (which in part has helped me to find the way) and loads of strangers (not even connected by mutual aquintances) have purchased a D2K in person or online, which means another step forward to profesionalization! To all of you: THANKS!


And because I´m not afraid to jump and I do when I have the chance even if the height is huge, I have created collections in tandem with  Andrea Sanz (illustrator)  y Chico Sanchez (graphic designer),  I made personalized designs and a custon made clothing galore, having to bring up to speed my Pattern making skills  andI have  invented and reinveinted myself over and over again.

And as if it were not enough I got myself (Thanks Jimmy for that little nudge!)  into dressmaking teaching (I have the best pupils ever, they are la crême de la crême) and lots of blogs have mentined Dresses2Kill and myself.

Because all of this and more (a year is a long time and I´m sure I have forgotten something) I am SO HAPPY and because you are unconditional fans and without your daily support all this wouldn´t be the same, I would like to give you a couple of great gifts (one for ever year): 1.- the first blouse I designed fot the collection “Hablame del Mar” , the Mangueta blouse ( yes! I have lost my marbles!!!!) and because you deserve it I will organize a Prize draw on Facebook between all the fans who share the picture! (You’ll find the instructions in the fanpage wall)
